Millbrae was named after Darius Mills who purchased the land in the 1860’s and added “brae” to the end of his last name to mean “rolling hills.” Expanding from the Bayshore up to Skyline, this city is the home of many tasteful restaurants and expansive parks. Home to Green Hills Country Club, you can find wildlife living along its greenbelt in the middle of the city. Millbrae’s annual Arts and Wine Festival is full of fun activities to enjoy with your friends and family.
