Miramar Beach is a popular destination to relax on the beach or stroll along The California Coastal Trail and if you’re lucky, do some whale watching! There are several art galleries and workshop classes offered downtown. The Bay hosts an annual Art and Pumpkin Festival as well as many Christmas festivities. The Bay is recognized as one of the first real towns in San Mateo County and was known as San Benito.
